INDEX Holding Ranked Three at the Dubai SME 100
INDEX Holding was ranked three today at the Dubai SME 100 awards which is a premier ranking of Dubai’s 100 top performing SMEs. The ceremony was attended by HH Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority where he congratulated all the participating companies and praised INDEX Holding for ranking number Three, and for their primary in the business sector and their tremendous achievements over the years.
This award goes in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai: to nurture business leadership through entrepreneurial spirit. And Dubai SME is responsible for developing that entrepreneurship in Small and Medium Enterprises.

AL JALILA CHILDRENS SPECIALTY HOSPITAL
The 200 bed Al Jalila Children’s Hospital had won the “Future Health Project” award at a prestigious World Architectural Festival held in Barcelona November 2009, beating 200 other entries around the globe. The World Architectural Festival is one of the most important events highlighting architectural work around the world. It is the platform where the world’s architectural visionaries come together every year.
The award is based on criteria such as functionality of the building and aesthetic sense. The state-of-the-art hospital will be the only one in the region specializing in pediatric care. It is designed on the “Green building” concept to save the energy.
